LUXURY FASHION — ONLINE STORE
Ukrainian brand MATIQÜE was founded by Julia Matiek in 2017. Her elegant collections of stylish cotton, cashmere and faux leather outfits will definitely make a great addition to any woman’s wardrobe. High quality fabrics and bespoke designs make this brand truly luxurious.
Project Goals
Our client was looking to increase the revenue and expand product sales internationally. We have been hired to develop a multilingual e-store where Matique customers could make all purchases online, including wholesale.
Project’s Objectives:
- Develope convenient website structure and simple design for hassle free online shopping
- Create easy searchable catalogue with clear conversion points
- Integrate automated inventory management
- Implementation of analytic tools
Design and features
We developed a custom made platform, instead of working with ready CMS solutions. It is more efficient, flexible, user friendly and most importantly cheaper to maintain in the future.
Design. It is important that shoppers focus on the product instead of being distracted by too many details. Our client supported this idea and we have adopted a simple yet sleek design throughout the website.
Our main focus was on creating an easy and convenient shopping experience by adopting various filters. Shoppers can browse the entire product range by season, fabric type and other features. We successfully implemented a very important yet a challenging feature: filtering by color.
Color is the second main search criteria when it comes to clothes shopping. Someone might be specifically after a pink dress or beige leggings. We have successfully added a color filter that comes with a user friendly pallet feature in the admin panel.
High resolution images are the essence of the online store, however this significantly slows down the work of the website. This was taken into consideration and our IT experts ensured the website had efficient performance and speed.
Backend. CMS powered by Aimeos for E-Commerce. Software was adopted to the individual needs of our client. Enhanced 3 step check out and product page.
Frontend. Our team came up with a few useful features, such as: multi currency and messenger connection option on each product page. This way shoppers could easily change desired currency and instantly connect with the sales team for any clarification.
Matique website is also available in a fully adaptive mobile version.
In addition to the web development, we were hired to help our client with the content and further promotion of the website online.
And what about conversions? Exciting browsing experience, clear and informative product pages, buyers’ reviews, well positioned call to action buttons, messenger buttons, simple checkout process and analytics - all these are essential to convert a website visit into a successful sale.
Results
Project was delivered within 2 months. All required features were implemented. We have established a long term partnership with Matique offering further servicing of the online store.
