ONLINE EDUCATIONAL PROJECT IN JUST 1 MONTH

SmartKids hired our team to help them present an online educational product - a programming course for children. This course is packed with exciting learning activities and offers the first 3 lessons free of charge. 

Our task was to deliver an engaging design that will attract more students and generate more revenue. 

Project objectives 

• Present information about the product and its price;
• Showcase all the advantages of the course and who it was suitable for;
• Place efficient conversion points;
• Deliver simple and clear website structure;
• Create a convenient individual user panel;
• Integrate the pay system.

Before we started to work on the project we brainstormed the website structure and marketing strategy for its further promotion. 

The process and insight

Our design is based on the preferences and vision of our client.

Website structure was carefully built with recommendations of our usability analyst. Strategic sequence of the screens and their content keps users engaged and the limited time discount offer motivates them to purchase the course.

Our custom-made CMS offers our client:  

• High level of security;
• Efficient speed;
• Flexibility;
• User friendly browsing experience;
• Easy content management;
• Options for further enhancement;
• Possibility to integrate with other other services (e.g. payments, shipping, etc).

This platform is fully adapted to all mobile and desktop devices.

We created a manual for further modifications.

A two way authentication system was introduced to eliminate any troubleshooting when new users sign up.

Since it is a paid course with a few free lessons, we have developed two panels for paid and free users. Interface design is simple and easy, any 7 year old can navigate it easily without the help of an adult. Free lesson expiry countdown and useful details of the course were added to the free user panel motivating them to finalize their purchase.

For customer’s convenience we have integrated payment system. After successful payment transaction users can have full access to the course and repeat any lessons they want.

To make the learning process even more useful and engaging we have implemented tools to assess students’ progress.

Results

Our client was handed over an educational online platform with its unique design and convenient structure. These solutions helped SmartKids truly stand out on the market. We recommend our client to focus on SEO and PPC, but that’s a story of another successful case study ;)
